If you want ideas on how to use flash heads creatively, then this DVD will be a great addition to your library. I refer to it to kick start my creative juices. David Honl makes use of small flashes, diffusers, gobos creatively. He also showed diagrams on how he lit the scenes.

My Review of Bogen-Manfrotto Three Section Monopod, Black Anodized.

What you pay is what you get - FALSE!

By Gerry Maceda from La Quinta, CA on 1/10/2010

Pros: Opens Quickly, Strong Construction

Best Uses: Sports/Action

Describe Yourself: Pro Photographer

I use the 679B to support my 300mm F2.8 lens. I don't think I will notice the weight difference if I bought a carbon fiber monopod.

This is my 2nd 679B, the locking lever on my first one broke but it was my fault, I overtightened the nut. Rather than buying a replacement locking lever I bought a whole new monopod because of the inexpensive price of a new one. I will eventually buy the replacement part and have that as a backup.

Monopod supported shot.
